[13C2,15N]-6-Thioguanine
6-Thioguanine is a purine analog of guanine used to treat acute myeloid leukemia (AML), acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). It can also be employed in the treatment inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis. Long-term use of 6-Thioguanine is not recommended. This drug induces side effects such as leukopenia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, anemia, anorexia, and hepatotoxicity.
Stable isotope labeled [13C2,15N]-6-Thioguanine is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 6-Thioguanine by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
