Nucleosyn provides Custom Stable Isotope (2H, 13C, 15N) compounds to support projects dedicated to : Bioanalytics, Omics research, Molecular Imaging, and Biomarker discovery.
[15N3]-Deoxycytidine
2’-Deoxycytidine is a deoxyribonucleoside that can be used as a precursor for the synthesis of active biomolecules. Phosphorylation at C5’ by deoxycytidine kinase affords Deoxycytidine monophosphate (dCMP), a DNA precursor, which can be further converted to dUMP and dTMP. In addition, 2’Deoxycytidine is a precursor of 5-Aza-2’-deoxycytidine, used to treat myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS). 2’-Deoxycytidine can also serve as a biomarker for tumor diagnosis.
Stable isotope labeled [15N3]-2’-Deoxycytidine is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Decitabine, 2’-Deoxycytidine and 5-Methyl-deoxycytidine by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
