Tazobactam is a pharmaceutical drug used as a bacterial β-lactamases inhibitor. Tazobactam is commonly used in combination with piperacillin to broaden its spectrum and make it effective against organisms that express β-lactamase and would normally degrade piperacillin. Tazobactam is given by intravenous injection.

Stable isotope labeled [¹⁵N₃]-Tazobactam is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Tazobactam by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
