[D3]-Cefuroxime

Cefuroxime is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat numerous bacterial infections, including pneumonia, meningitis, otitis media, sepsis, urinary tract infections and Lyme disease. Cefuroxime can be taken by mouth or injected into a vein or muscle.

Stable isotope labeled [D₃]-Cefuroxime is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Cefuroxime, Cefazolin, and Benzylpenicillin by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
