[D3]-Linezolid
Linezolid is a synthetic antibiotic used against Gram-positive bacteria that are resistant to other antibiotics such as streptococci, vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE), or methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Although Linezolid is mostly used to treat skin infections and pneumonia, it may also treat other infections including drug-resistant tuberculosis. Linezolid can be taken by mouth or injected into a vein.
Stable isotope labeled [D3]-Linezolid is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Linezolid by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
