[D3]-Methotrexate
Methotrexate is an antimetabolite and immunosuppressive agent used to treat various types of cancer, including breast cancer, leukemia, lung cancer, lymphoma, gestational trophoblastic disease, and osteosarcoma. It also treats autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn’s disease. Common side effects are nausea, fever, low white blood cell counts, liver disease, lung disease, and severe skin rashes.
Stable isotope labeled [D3]-Methotrexate is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Methotrexate and 6-Methylthioinosine monophosphate by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
