[D5]-Tamoxifen
Tamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor modulator used to prevent breast cancer for both women and men. Studies are currently ongoing to treat other types of cancer with Tamoxifen. Other applications are the treatment of infertility, gynecomastia, and early puberty. Tamoxifen can be taken by mouth as a tablet or solution.
Stable isotope labeled [D5]-Tamoxifen is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Tamoxifen by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
