[D8]-Busulfan
Busulfan is a non-specific alkylating antineoplastic agent used to treat chronic myeloid leukemia, other leukemias, lymphomas, and myeloproliferative disorders. This alkylating agent forms DNA-DNA guanine/adenine or guanine/guanine interstrand crosslinks. Busulfan can be taken by mouth or given into a vein.
Stable isotope labeled [D8]-Busulfan is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Busulfan by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
