ATX-001 and ATX-002 are lipids constructed from an SAR study to optimize physicochemical parameters resulting in good in vivo activity within a range of measured basicity (pKa = 6.0−6.6) and lipophilicity (cLogD = 10−14). ATX-001 is useful for the development of lipidoid nanoparticles for siRNA, mRNA, and vaccine delivery. ATX-002 is a lipid for RNA and vaccine delivery.
