NucleoSyn produces and supplies synthetic lipids from milligrams to multi-kilos quantities.
DODMA
DODMA is an ionizable cationic lipid with a protonatable tertiary amine head group that shows positive charge at low pH. It is used for the preparation of cationic liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNP) needing a neutral or low zeta potential. It can be used to formulate lipid nanoparticles that can encapsulate siRNA or other small molecules to be used for drug delivery. DODMA is especially highly efficient at encapsulating nucleic acid to form lipoplexes during synthesis by reducing the physiological pH, which readily passes through the cell membrane. These properties make DODMA highly suitable for transfection and drug delivery applications.
