Lipid 29 is an ionizable amino lipid (pKa = 6.91). Lipid 29 is used in combination with other lipids for the formulation of lipid nanoparticules (LNPs) for mRNA delivery. It has been shown that Lipid 29 improves the performances of the corresponding lipid nanoparticle through specific interactions with mRNA.
