[D9]-Tigecycline

Tigecycline is a tetracycline antibiotic that was developed in response to the growing rate of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. It is used to treat both Gram-positive and negative organisms as well as various infections including skin and structure infections, complicated intra-abdominal infections, and community-acquired bacterial pneumonia. Tigecycline should be closely monitored for people with severe liver problems.

Stable isotope labeled [D₉]-Tigecycline is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of Tigecycline by LC or GC-mass spectrometry.
