Chemical synthesis services
Manufacture of complex organic molecules
Nucleosyn provides access to a reliable and sustainable source of known products that meet your specification in terms of quality thanks to our chemists and to our global supply network. We are ready to solve any chemicals sourcing of organic compounds from small molecules to more complex peptides structures. Our catalog features a large panel of compounds mainly based on DNA & RNA synthesis reagents, synthetic lipids and stable isotope labeled molecules.
Experience and innovation in chemistry
Over the years, Nucleosyn has developed its chemistry expertise by undertaking a large number of diverse projects. Customers will often supply a known synthetic pathway, but Nucleosyn’s chemists also use their own expertise and knowledge to devise innovative solutions or improve synthetic pathways to provide a higher quality end product.
Custom synthesis services
Nucleosyn has been built around its unique chemistry skills and experience in custom chemical synthesis by using novel chemical synthetic approaches alongside classical methodologies. Taking advantage of its highly trained team of chemists which includes Ph.D’s, chemical engineers and technicians, Nucleosyn has earned a reputation for completing even the most challenging syntheses on time and to full requirement.
Custom synthesis provided by Nucleosyn considers manufacture of compounds from milli-grams to multi-grams scale synthesis and could be done with a patentability and freedom to operate (FTO) analysis of specialized chemicals and/or a chemical process. Each project is treated with utmost confidentiality if requested (confidentiality agreement). So don’t hesitate to give us a shout!
High quality compounds
Nucleosyn is committed to ensure the purity and identity of the produced molecules. To demonstrate this, a complete analysis certificate of supplied compounds is provided including all analysis data performed during the manufacturing process.
Analytical service
The analytical Nucleosyn’s service offers open access, in-process, and problem-solving support to Nucleosyn’s synthesis labs as well as providing comprehensive independent analysis data for all final compounds before shipment. The analytical lab is equipped with the best in analytical instrumentations such as:
A fully automated high resolution 250 & 400MHz variable temperature, multinuclear NMR spectrometers.
- Open access 1D spectra for 1H, 13C, 19F and 31P nucleis
- Open access 2D spectra such as COSY, HSQC, HMBC, NOESY…
- On request, specialized experiments such as 1D nOe difference, other nucleis
- Structural confirmation/elucidation

Analytical scale HPLC as well as semipreparative scale HPLC equipment providing the following capabilities:
- Reverse Phase, Normal Phase and HPLC
- Isocratic and gradient HPLC elution
- UV/visible diode array, ELSD or MS detection
- High throughput rapid LCMS testing
- Purity determination methods developed for specific compounds
- Rapid preparative HPLC purification of multiple compounds
- Targeted preparative HPLC purification/separation of specific molecules
A High-Resolution-Mass-Spectrometer (HRMS) access to:
- Analyze more complex organic ionizable mixture or compounds
- Get more insights into structure of molecules
- Determine the isotopic enrichment of labelled compounds
High reliability
Nucleosyn works with an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) to ensure batches traceability all across the production process. Compounds and batches are managed thanks to a dedicated database and inventory. Multistep synthesis follows established manufacturing master files (MMF) enabling batch reproducibility and easy scaling-up when needed.
Typical Product Packaging & Shipment
Depending on the compound, any size of packaging is possible (under request, from µg to multigram quantities), in pure form or standardized solution.
To ensure a long-term stability, compounds are all conditioned in low actinic amber color glassware (light sensitive products) and under argon atmosphere (air sensitive products). In addition, they are shipped cold (e.g. dry ice shipping for temperature sensitive products if necessary with express worldwide delivery).
